Old Carleton County Gaol

Our research initiative had planned to launch a new tour at the Old Carleton County Gaol as part of a previous partnership with the Ottawa Jail Hostel (then owned by Hostelling International), which was sold to Saintlo Hostel in 2023. Having been unable to secure a partnership with new ownership, the CCRI is preparing a new self-guided audio tour of the Old Carleton County Gaol with the Criminalization and Punishment Education Project, which we plan to launch in the spring of 2024.
